The Annual Duke Childrens Hospital Benefit Horse Show "Jump for the Children" is again scheduled for November this year. In Graphite Gallery, you'll see the poster I designed, including the drawing of the horse and rider. (Don't you love the braids and ribbons?)
The show is November 8-13 at the Gov Hunt Horse Complex, adjacent to the Fair Grounds here in Raleigh. Over 600 horses will show; the kids can decorate a stick horse and join the race with Mr. Taco on Saturday evening - the same evening as the Grand Prix ($30,000), the highlight of the show. And the show, except for a small fee Saturday evening, is free! I’ll be there in my booth, showing horse and dog images, plus some of my new landscape and African mammal paintings.
